Admittedly, I used a picture I already had and liked, instead of trying to take one on the spot like I did with Nathan (if you've never applied for a baby passport, you should be allowed to continue to live in blissful ignorance of the disastrous process). But still -- I don't know any other people who look this sweet in their passport pictures. Not one.
In other passport news, I finally got a new one myself... with my married name on it. And it only took seven years. In case you're curious, my passport picture is not as cute as Anneliese's. But it's not as bad as Mark's either (he perfected his crazy eyes for that particular photo shoot).
...So now we're ready to travel the world! It's been forever since we've been on a real vacation,* so we're feeling the itch again. Anyone with cool ideas (or the urge to take care of our children for a week so we can do a grownup trip), let us know.
*real vacation = airplane and passport required.

I'm thinking we need to get passports.
None of us have them.. Our pics won't be NEARLY that cute.. but, y'know ;-)
Please post yours and mark's pics too! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! I just HAVE to see crazy eyes. And when your great- great- great- grandchildren google you, don't you want them to see the crazy eyes too? C'mon, show us!
That is a really good passport picture.
What kind of vacation are you wanting? After I had two kids, I wanted to go somewhere relaxing with beaches and good restuarants and the same language. So that's why we chose Kauai.
But except for the language thing you could get all that in say Greece or Croatia. Those are high on my list.
mmmm.... language barriers are no problem for us. Croatia is REALLY high on my list too, and Turkey too (and Malta -- aaaahhhh so many places in that corner of the world I want to see!)... But if we keep it in the same hemisphere it will probably be a lot cheaper.
I haven't ruled out vancouver. Ever been there?
No! I've never been to Vancouver but J is practically planning our trip there after watching the Olympics. That would an AWESOME place. Check it out for us ok?
I took Diya's passport picture and it was cute, but the photo place made her pictures the wrong size... so for all the paperwork they were OK, but we had to get a new one for the actual passport... so we went to this little shop quickly that was near the embassy and got her picture made... worst picture EVER!! Poor girl looks like Yoda! She has to use that passport for the next 5 years! haha!
oh, and Adam's picture is HILARIOUS! He has longer curly hair that's crazy - everytime they check our passports, the Indian officials have to look at it multiple times and then they usually crack up laughing :) haha!
