Big Brother & Little Sister

Nathan and Anneliese got to meet each other today! We got home from the hospital when Nathan was still at preschool, so Anneliese and I snuggled on the couch and watched tv while we waited for Mark to go get Nathan.

These two will will carry the roles of big brother and little sister for the rest of their lives, and it was kind of fun to see the first moments of the relationship. We got some of them on video (my favorite part is where he tells us she is dirty):

Nathan is very excited to have Anneliese home with us. He is always aware of where she is and he wants to be near her, hug her, kiss her, and hold her. We're still working on always being gentle and touching nicely, but he's getting better. I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon, but for now they're very sweet together.
