We planned a little birthday party for Nathan last night at (where else?) the
airport. When you're turning three, what more do you need than airplanes and cake? Not much.
Yesterday morning, it turned out that four of the five party kids weren't able to come. At first I was a little bummed, but honestly it turned out great. Nathan was thrilled to play and talk with the people who came to help him celebrate (Uncle Nick, Another Nathan, and the
Ueckers).
Some pictures from our little celebration...

He was very insistent on having a GREEN birthday cake this year. :)

He was in such a great mood all day -- sweet and silly and happy, and tellling everyone he's three. What a joy!

YAY! Looks like y'all had a grand time celebrating Nathan's big day!
Happy Birthday Nathan! Summer birthdays are hard to work into everyone's schedule.
What is it that John Rosemond says.......no more guests than the number of the birthday........so he exceeded the limit of three! (I'm assuming that means beyond the immediate family.......)
Airplanes and GREEN cake!!
I had a green cake once, too. It had orange icing though (I think the goal was to gross my dad out!)
